Russia Business Visas

A valid passport and visa are required to enter Russia. Persons arriving without valid passports and the appropriate Russian visa may not be permitted to enter and will be subject to a fine and immediate deportation at the traveler's expense.

Please follow the instructions below. After you read all the instructions, if you have any questions, call us at 1-800-806-0581 before you start the process.

Send us your current valid and signed passport. It must not expire within 6 months and must have at least two blank visa pages. If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, you must first amend your passport to have pages added. A Briggs will secure your visa using the added pages. If your passport expires within six months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Send 1 visa application form completed and signed with your signature in blue ink.

Use only if you are citizen of a country other than the United States.

The application form must be typed or clearly handwritten within the boxes provided. Any writing outside of the boxes and borders of the application form will be rejected. Be sure that the application form bears your original signature. Please cut a photo to fit inside designed rectangle as it must be glued on. This is in addition to the "passport photo" that must also be submitted.

You must submit 1 passport photograph taken by o a passport photographer. Digital and non-passport style photographs are not acceptable. Homemade photos are generally rejected by the Russian Embassy.

Passport Photo Requirements

Submit a computer-generated flight itinerary from your travel agent, airline, or online booking agency or a copy of your ticket. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information.

The itinerary is required because the Embassy wants to know the dates you plan to arrive and depart from the country.

NOTE: Processing times are business days. The first day begins the day after your package is received by A Briggs except in the case of pre-arranged same day service when available. Prices are per applicant.

The A Briggs fees are:

$55.00 for regular service for which we secure your visa from the Embassy in its normal time of issuance; or

$125.00 for rush service for which we secure your visa as quickly as the Embassy will issue it.

Business visa applicants must submit a business cover letter from a U.S. company indicating purpose of travel, duration and moral and financial responsibilities. Please review the example cover letter at the link below.

In order to secure a visa to Russia, all applicants for all types of visas must have an invitation issued by an agency recognized by the Russian government.

If you have an invitation from your tour group or cruise ship authorized by the Russian government, this serves as an invitation for a tourist visa. Fax copies are acceptable. The Embassy reserves the right to request the original invitation.

If you have a hotel reservation, you must provide a hotel confirmation and hotel voucher each with a Russian Government seal affixed thereto with the confirmation and reference number. This confirmation and voucher together serve as your invitation. Fax copies are acceptable. The Embassy reserves the right to request the original invitation.

If you are visiting family or friends in Russia and will be staying with them, your host in Russia must secure a Visa Entitlement Certificate (in Russian, called an "IZVESHENIYE") from the local OVIR (The Russian Ministry of the Interior or its local offices in Russia.) Your Russia host must obtain this certificate for you and send the original certificate to you -- fax copies are not acceptable.

For business visas, your host company in Russia can secure an invitation from the Ministry of Interior of the Russian government. Fax copies are acceptable. The Embassy reserves the right to request the original invitation

For a transit visa, you need only present a copy of your actual ticket (for transit visas, itineraries are not sufficient) in to and out of Russia (along with the other items listed above) and you must have a visa for the onward country to which you are traveling already in your passport.

Non-US Citizens must include a photocopy of their Resident Alien Identification ("Green Card") or have a valid US Visa in the passport.

Non-US citizens must submit proof of health insurance. A copy of the medical card is sufficient.

You must complete the Online Order Form.

The order form gives us your name, address, shipping information and payment method. Multiple applicants can be entered using one order form. Please print two copies of the confirmation page. Include one copy with the documents you ship to us and keep one copy for your records.

While completing the online order form in this step, you will be asked how you want to pay A Briggs. You may pay our fees online with a credit card or enclose a personal or business check or money order.

Note: Additional shipping costs must be charged to a credit card for each package shipped to an international destination and the following locations: Alaska, Hawaii, and all U.S. Territories.

Saturday Delivery is an additional $14 when available to US destinations.
